Giovedì scorso il Festival di Cannes ha aperto i battenti. Per la cerimonia di apertura occhi puntati sui protagonisti di “The Great Gatsby”, l’attesissimo film di Baz Luhrmann che sembra non aver convinto troppo gli spettatori del Festival ma che a me invece è piaciuto molto. A sfilare sul red carpet il cast del film, cantanti, modelle e altre celebrities arrivate da Hollywood per l’occasione. Bellissime Carey Mulligan e Nicole Kidman nei loro abiti Christian Dior Haute Couture. Splendide anche Cara Delevingne super sexy nel suo vestito firmato Burberry e Naomie Harris che ha sfoggiato un elegante abito di Calvin Klein. Meno convincenti, almeno per me, le mise scelte da Cindy Crawford, Isla Fisher, Freida Pinto, Julianne Moore e Georgia May Jagger. Bocciati invece i look di due delle voci della colonna sonora del film: Lana Del Rey e Florence Welch. Queste le mie pagelle. Voi cosa ne pensate di questi look? Last Thursday the Cannes Film Festival has opened its doors. For the opening ceremony all eyes were on the team behind "The Great Gatsby", the highly anticipated film led by director Baz Luhrmann (I watched it during the weekend and I liked it a lot). Film actors have walked the red carpet together with singers, models and many other celebrities come from Hollywood for the occasion. Carey Mulligan and Nicole Kidman were beautiful in their Christian Dior Haute Couture dresses. I also love the looks of Cara Delevingne, super sexy in her Burberry dress, and Naomie Harris who wore an elegant Calvin Klein dress. I find pretty the dresses chosen by Cindy Crawford, Isla Fisher, Freida Pinto, Julianne Moore and Georgia May Jagger. Instead I don’t like the looks flaunted by Lana Del Rey and Florence Welch. Olivia Palermo oltre ad essere la regina indiscussa dello street style e protagonista di numerose campagne pubblicitarie, è soprattutto una delle fashion icon più amate. Io adoro il suo stile elegante e chic e non potevo non dedicarle un post. Mi piacciono i suoi outfit estremamente curati nei dettagli e amo il modo in cui sperimenta i trend del momento combinando capi firmati e capi low-cost. Ho provato a selezionare alcuni dei miei look preferiti e devo ammettere che la scelta non è stata facile visto che mi piacciono praticamente tutti. Questa è la mia selezione. Accessori per l'estate 2013: fasce e foulard per i capelli

Fasce ma soprattutto coloratissimi foulard annodati tra i capelli. E’ questo l’ultimo hair trend per la primavera/estate 2013 che sta spopolando già da qualche mese e che abbiamo ammirato sulle passerelle di molti stilisti (primi tra tutti Dolce & Gabbana che lo hanno proposto in versione multicolor). Il foulard, femminile e chic ma anche estremamente utile per difendersi dal caldo, può essere indossato in diversi modi: utilizzato per realizzare uno chignon, annodato tra i capelli come se fosse una fascia, usato per impreziosire la treccia o una semplice coda di cavallo. Io adoro questo trend che trovo sia perfetto per valorizzare e dare un tocco di colore ai nostri outfit. Voi che ne pensate di questa tendenza? This is the latest hair trend for spring/summer 2013 that we have already admired on the catwalks of many fashion designers (first of all Dolce & Gabbana that have proposed it in a multicolour version). Foulards, feminine and chic but also extremely useful to avoid the heat, can be worn in many different ways: used to make a chignon, knotted in the hair as a headband, used to embellish the braid or a simple ponytail. I love this trend that I think it’s perfect to enhance and give a touch of color to our outfits. What do you think of this trend? Femminilità, classe, delicatezza e garbo: sono queste le caratteristiche di Sessùn, brand francese che ha già un grande successo all’estero ma che io ho scoperto solo da qualche giorno. Bianco, rosa, azzurro, giallo e arancione sono i colori dominanti della collezione per la primavera/estate 2013 che combina insieme stile etnico e stile vintage. I punti di forza di questa collezione, dal gusto retrò ma allo stesso tempo moderna, sono sicuramente le giacche oversize dal taglio maschile, gli shorts e le camicette. Gli store di Sessùn sono presenti in tutto il mondo ma i capi di questa collezione possono essere acquistati anche online sull’e-shop del brand. Tra i capi must-have di questa primavera ha sicuramente un ruolo da protagonista la giacca di jeans che è tornata di moda dopo aver passato molti anni nel dimenticatoio. E’ un capo che sta bene a tutte e sono tantissimi i brand, low-cost e non, che lo hanno proposto nelle loro collezioni. La giacca di jeans, nella versione classica o arricchita da dettagli più particolari come ricami e borchie, è un capo di abbigliamento molto sportivo ma basta seguire alcuni semplici accorgimenti e abbinarlo nel modo giusto per renderlo glamour e femminile. Tantissimi gli abbinamenti possibili: con gli shorts, con pantaloni dalle stampe colorate, con i jeans. Io lo adoro su mini dress e gonne lunghe.
